What is a good mutual fund to start with?
I want to begin investing and I believe a mutual fund is my best option. Should I go with one that tracks the S&P or one like the Vanguard Total Global Market fund? So many to chose from but whats a good starting fund? I know most Vanguard funds are 2,500 to open and thats fine. And its wise to continue putting money into your fund over the years correct?

How do I start placing money in an index fund?
I’ve recently come into a little bit of money, and would like to place the money in an index fund like the S&P 500. This is the first time I’ve really invested, so I would like to start small, say around 0, but I’m unsure how I would go about actually doing it. Can I do it myself, or is a middle man necessary?

What is the difference between a Exchange traded fund and a index fund?
I am 21 and i ma looking to put my money back to work for me this year. I was told that my best bet is to invest in a index fund that track the S&P 500. However i am also being told that Exchange traded funds (EFT) are the way to go. I would like to know what is the main differences between the two. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
